Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup of book bloggers hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week, we're highlighting the books we've read with super duper long titles. These ones are definitely lengthy! And all of the books themselves are solid reads.
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle
The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe
The Many Lives and Secret Sorrows of Josephine B
The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires
On The Bright Side, I'm Now The Girlfriend Of A Sex God
The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat was a good read.
ReplyDeleteMy post.
One of my all-time faves!
DeleteStieg Larsson's book titles are SO LONG. They're a mouthful, but I like them.
ReplyDeleteThey're really engrossing books!
DeleteI've read a few on your list - I absolutely loved both books of Josephine B and never see it listed anywhere - this is a first! Also loved Garden of Good & Evil - such an evocative story - I visited Savannah a couple years ago because I read this book 20 years ago!

Josephine B was enjoyable enough that I not only grabbed the sequel, I grabbed a couple bios of Josephine to read!
DeleteExcellent list! Fried Green Tomatoes and the Garden of Good and Evil!
ReplyDeleteBoth so great!
DeleteThe Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat has such a funny title!
ReplyDeleteIt's a fascinating story!
DeleteI'm a huge Jana fan, and I check out her site every few weeks, and found you. I loved several of these--Man Who Mistook, Heartbreaking Work (breathtaking), Fried Green Tomatoes, and Girl Who Kicked. I'll toss out one more long title of a book I loved The True History of the Kelly Gang (Peter Carey) and The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet (David Mitchell). Happy Friday and thanks for your list :)
ReplyDeleteTrue History is definitely on my list!
